Hayden Derlein, Knox College
First-year Hayden Derlein led Knox to a doubleheader sweep at Eureka on Sunday, going 4-for-6 with a slash line of .667/.750/.833, reaching base in six of his eight plate appearances. He had a season-high three hits in the second game, an 8-3 victory, scoring twice. Derlein has hit safely in each of the Prairie Fire’s first four games, batting an even .400, to help Knox get off to its first 4-0 start since 1999.
