Lardi tossed a three-hit shoutout with 12 strikeouts in helping IC to a sweep of Monmouth in the Midwest Conference opening doubleheader on Saturday. The 12 strikeouts were one shy of tying the school record for Ks in a game. The win also moved Lardi to 3-0 on the season with a 3.57 ERA.
