vanWestrienen clocked the fourth-fastest 5000-meter time in Division III this outdoor season, finishing fourth out of 274 competitors at the UW-Platteville Invitational. The junior crossed in 14:05.67, shattering the school record by 19 seconds. VanWestrienen was second among all Division III finishers in the race.
