Roark began her senior cross country season on a strong note, racing to the championship at the Central College Dutch Invite on Friday. Running 5000 meters, Roark toured the course in 18 minutes, 57.9 seconds to beat the runner-up from Central by more than 5 seconds. That time ranks 11th in program history. Grinnell was second in the seven-team meet with 42 points, finishing only behind Central.
