Thome won all four of her matches at the top of the lineup in Cornell's season-opening dual wins over Simpson College (9-0) and North Park University (8-1). The Ram junior scored wins at No. 1 singles over Simpson (6-2, 6-1) and North Park (6-1, 6-3). She partnered with Shashanna Moll for a pair of 8-3 victories at No. 1 doubles.
