Karnatz sparked the Lawrence offense from her role as the Vikings' lead-off hitter. Batting at the top of the lineup in the final eight games of the Vikings' spring break trip to Florida, Karnatz hit .538 and scored 14 runs, an average of 1.75 per game. Karnatz went 14-for-26 and picked up three walks and was hit by a pitch for a .600 on-base percentage. She also showed serious pop in her bat with five doubles for a .731 slugging percentage. She also swiped eight bases in nine tries and recorded an outfield assist.
