Medina was unstoppable in an 88-52 triumph over Monmouth on Saturday, pouring in 31 points — her third 30-point game of the season and fifth of her career — on 10-of-13 from the floor (.789) and a perfect 11-of-11 at the foul line. The last time a Prairie Fire player converted that many free throws without a miss was nearly eight years ago. In a 76-64 loss against Lawrence on Tuesday, she tallied 24 points while playing all 40 minutes. Medina has scored at least 20 points in each of the first seven contests and ranks second nationally in scoring (27.0 ppg). And in the MWC, she not only leads in those categories, but field goal percentage (.538), steals per game and minutes per game (37.3).
