Moraes was victorious at the top of the doubles and singles lineup as Lake Forest won 5-2 at Oberlin College, a team with a significantly higher UTR ranking (59-56) on Saturday. After the teams split at #2 and #3 doubles, he and Rodrigo Cunha finished off a 7-6 (12-10) triumph at #1 to secure the doubles point. He also came out on top in tiebreaker fashion at #1 singles, prevailing 2-6, 6-3, (10-5). The victory over Oberlin earned the Foresters a split on the day after falling to Case Western Reserve University, the nation's fifth-ranked team, in the morning.
