Savannah Powers had a great start to the Monmouth season with 9 RBI in her first three games. Powers hit her first career home run in game 1 Saturday, driving in two runs and scoring twice. In game two she had a grand slam and a RBI single to finish 2-4 with two more runs scored and four RBI. In the first game Sunday she drove in three more runs with a double and added a single in game 2. Overall, she was 5--for-17 with three extra base hits, 2 HR, 9 RBI and four runs scored.
