Sykes had a big week at the plate for the Prairie Fire. In six games, all against MWC competition, Sykes picked up 12 hits in 23 at-bats including three home runs, four doubles, nine RBI, and seven runs scored.  He currently ranks 13th in Division III in batting average (.462), seventh in home runs per game (.33), seventh in on-base percentage (.560), third in RBI per game (1.67), and third in slugging percentage (.885).
