Jumes was perfect on the week, tied the Lawrence record for career singles wins and helped the Vikings to their second consecutive berth in the Midwest Conference Tournament. Jumes went 2-0 at No. 1 and was 2-0 at No. 1 doubles with partner Bill Schuman-Kline. Jumes won 6-0, 6-0 in singles and 8-1 in doubles in Lawrence's 9-0 win over Ripon. Jumes then won in three sets in singles and picked up a doubles victory in Lawrence's 5-4 setback to Lake Forest. Jumes now has 60 career singles wins, tying the school record of former MWC champion Ryan Dunn.
