Beloit College junior Dan Arkes has earned the Midwest Conference (MWC) Men’s Cross Country Performer of the Week award after winning the Beloit College Early Bird meet on Friday. 

Arkes blew past the 29-man field at the Beloit Early Bird on Friday and crossed the finish line nearly 45 seconds in front of the second-place runner (20:17.10).  The junior led the Beloit to the team title in the squad’s season-opener.
