For the second consecutive season, Knox College women's golfer Samantha Nichols won the Monmouth College Fighting Scot Invitational and has been named the Midwest Conference (MWC) Women's Golf Performer of the Week.  Nichols was four strokes off the lead after she shot an 80 for the first round, but rebounded with a 78 on Saturday for a 36-hole total of 158 and a four-stroke victory over the 43-player field.
