Laun-Smith led the way for the Bucs at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, picking up two individual third-place finishes and setting two new school records along the way. Laun-Smith broke her own records in the 60-meter hurdles and the triple jump, both of which she set two weeks ago. In the triple jump, she went 37’ 1 ¾” (breaking the old record of 36’11.75). That mark leads the MWC and ranks 15th in the nation. In the 60-meter hurdles, she broke her record (9.59) in prelims with a time of 9.34 and set another new school record in the finals with a time of 9.27. Her time is currently the top time in the MWC and ranks 39th in Division III.
