First-year Eva Laun-Smith scored two individual second-place finishes and a third-place finish while setting three new school records at the UW-Oshkosh Titan Challenge last Saturday. The Buccaneer broke her own records in the 60m hurdles and triple jump, both of which Laun-Smith set three weeks ago. In the triple jump, she was second with a mark of 38' 0.25", breaking her previous mark of 37' 01.75" and securing a spot atop the MWC leaderboard. In the 60m hurdles, Laun-Smith broke her record of 9.27 with a time of 9.16, good enough for second place. In the long jump, she was third with a leap of 17' 11.5" which breaks a Beloit College record and ranks her No. 1 in the MWC.
