Gutierrez took first in the 400-meter hurdles and was part of the top 4x100 relay team to lead the Buccaneers to a tie for second place in the Wisconsin Private College Championships. His 54.93 in the 400 hurdles bested the competition by nearly two seconds, sits atop the Midwest Conference performance list and ranks 22nd in the nation in the event. In the 4x100, Gutierrez gave the Bucs the advantage in the lead leg leading to a first-place finish with a time of 44.46.
