Jones was a workhorse last week, throwing 16 innings and picking up two victories against Principia College and Cornell College. The senior right-hander from Jacksonville, Ill., improved to 5-2 on the season by allowing only three runs in his two starts while striking out 13. He went the distance in a 6-1 victory over Cornell.
