Beloit College junior Jose Gutierrez has been named the Midwest Conference (MWC) Track Performer of the Week. Gutierrez, a Beloit native, posted a time of 53.20 to win the 400-meter hurdles at the Dr. Tucker Open in Dubuque on Friday. His time currently tops the Midwest Conference performance list and ranks 12th nationally.
