Abby Nielsen took part in the highly-competitive UW-Whitewater Warhawk Invite this past weekend and claimed a runner-up finish at the top singles flight. Nielsen got past a player from UW-La Crosse 7-5, 7-5 to make it to the semifinals where she upset the top seed from UW-Eau Claire 6-1, 7-5. In a marathon title match, Nielsen fell to the second-seeded Augustana College player 5-7, 6-4, 14-12.
