Myers turned in an electric kickoff return for a touchdown in Lawrence's loss to Illinois College. The 100-yard return ties the record for a Midwest Conference game and ranks as the second-longest in Lawrence history, eclipsed only by a 102-yard return by College Football Hall of Famer Scott Reppert back in 1982. Myers, who was returning a kickoff for just the third time, didn't start the return. The ball was caught at the goal line by Dan Rothbauer, and the ball was handed to Myers just a few yards up the field. Myers cut left past one defender and then back right, stepped out of a tackle and went untouched the rest of the way. It's the first kickoff return for a touchdown by the Vikings since Alic Riedel did it in the 2015 season opener.
