Porterfield had a career-day as he posted highs in rushing yards with 168 and three touchdowns in a 22-7 win over Knox. The running backs 43-yard scoring run sealed the victory with 3:15 remaining and came after the Prairie Fire had scored. Porterfield’s two other touchdowns came on runs of nine and 38-yards as he averaged 6.5 yards per rush on 26 carries.
