Sanna crushed two Illinois College school records in his first meet as a Blueboy. Sanna’s time of 51.62 in the 100 backstroke broke the previous mark by three seconds while his 200 back time of 1:54.10 was nearly 15 seconds better the old record. His times rank first in the conference and put him in range of national-qualifying times. The freshman also swam on the 200 medley and 400 free relays that posted the fifth fastest times in program history as he helped the Blueboys to a fifth place finish at the Panther Invite.
