Wheeland moved up to the No. 1 singles position against St. Louis College of Pharmacy in the Blueboys second match of the day on Saturday. The challenge did not daunt the freshman as he came away with a 6-0, 6-4 victory. Early in the match he also got an 8-3 win at the No. 1 doubles spot with partner Miguel Vaca.
