Anfang set a single-game school record with 16 strikeouts as he led the Rams to a 6-2 win over Fitchburg State. The sophomore's 16 K's also ties him for second with five other pitchers in the MWC record book. The right-hander started the game by striking out eight of the first 11 batters he faced while getting 14 of 16 swinging. In eight innings, Anfang gave up two runs, one walk, and six hits. He also helped set the school record for team strikeouts in a single-game as Adam Tvedt added two for a program best 18.
