Kornstad provided the Rams with a gem against South Division leader Monmouth on Thursday. The senior lefthander pitched a complete-game two-hit shutout as he struck out eight with only one walk. He faced just one batter over the minimum in nine innings while not allowing a runner past first base. Kornstad added one scoreless inning of relief against Mount Mercy where he struck out one for a total of 9 K’s for the week.
