Newcomer Nick Walter made a huge impact on both sides of the field for Illinois College this past weekend. Playing nearly the whole way in matches against Dominican on Friday and Manchester on Sunday, Walter was part of a defensive effort that gave up only a single goal in each match. By comparison, the Blueboys fell to Dominican by a 9-0 scre one year ago without Walter in the lineup. In a 1-1 draw with Manchester on Sunday, Walter skied to head in IC's goal in the 12th minute.
