Barnes was all over the field in Saturday's 45-12 win at Finlandia, recording a game-high 14 tackles (nine solo), including 2.5 for a loss and one sack, while also scoring two touchdowns. Barnes recovered a blocked punt in the end zone mid-way through the second quarter for a score, then forced a fumble late in the first half, which he scooped up and returned four yards for a touchdown to give Ripon a commanding 38-6 halftime lead. He also blocked an extra point in the first quarter. With his 14 tackles, Barnes now has 231 in his career, which moves him into eighth place in program history.
