De los Reyes earned a pair of key victories as Grinnell won a 6-3 battle over preseason favorite Lake Forest College, a team that defeated the Pioneers twice in crucial matches last season. She and Sabrina Tang ’23 gained the team’s lone doubles win at the second spot, and then De los Reyes clinched the team victory with a 6-2, 4-6, 6-1 win at No. 4 singles. De los Reyes also posted singles and doubles wins earlier in the day against Beloit College (6-0, 6-0 at No. 3 singles and 8-1 with Tang at No. 1 doubles). The Pioneers remained perfect on the season at 5-0 and have won 33 of their last 34 matches, dating back to 2015. She owns a 6-1 singles mark and is a combined 4-0 in doubles this season.
