Gordon netted five goals in the three games last week and Monmouth continued their best start in program history, improving to 8-1-1 on the season. Gordon scored the first of her two goals in the fourth minute of last Tuesday’s 6-0 blanking of Principia, placing two of her three shots on goal. The senior forward scored both goals in Saturday’s 2-0 win at St. Norbert in the league opener and followed with a goal and two assists in Sunday’s 5-0 victory at Beloit. For the week, Gordon scored five goals with two assists and put more than half her shots on goal.
