Lieberman led a strong Grinnell charge at the Loyola Lakefront Cross Country Invitational Saturday, placing 27th in a field of 281 runners. Despite running on a wet and muddy course, Lieberman recorded the fourth-fastest time in the MWC this season with a clocking of 27:00 over 8 kilometers. His efforts helped Grinnell to a ninth-place finish in the 31-team field.
