Fujiwara had another impressive outing Saturday, racing to a fifth-place finish in a 250-runner field at the Loyola Lakefront Cross Country Invitational. Despite running on a wet and muddy course, Fujiwara recorded the 10th-fastest 5-kilometer time in program history with a clocking of 19:05. Her efforts helped Grinnell to a ninth-place finish in the 30-team field.
