Newton turned in a dominating performance in Macalester’s 24-9 victory over Cornell. He registered a team-leaded 12 tackles, including 7 solo, two tackles for loss, a sack and two blocked kicks. Newton also tipped a pass that was intercepted by teammate Brady Thompson.
