From his very first carry of the game, Trevor Smalls was unstoppable on Saturday in a 56-17 win over Cornell College. Trailing by a touchdown early on, Smalls broke loose for a 45-yard touchdown on his first carry of the day. As the game rolled along, he added touchdown runs of 16 and 14 yards in the first half and 32 and 49 yards in the second half. In all, he racked up 240 yards on 18 carries (a 13.3 yards per carry average) and came up one touchdown shy of matching a 105-year old school record for rushing touchdowns in a game.
