Light hit .318 with a match-high 17 kills in a 3-2 victory at Illinois College that clinched Cornell’s eighth consecutive MWC regular-season championship and the No. 1 seed in the MWC Tournament. The freshman also had eight blocks (three solo) against the Lady Blues. For the week, Light averaged 2.89 kills and 1.33 blocks, while posting a .237 attack percentage.
