Janusiak won the title at Lawrence's Gene Davis Invitational for his first individual career title. Janusiak completed the 8,000-meter course at Reid Golf Course in 25:48, which eclipsed his own mark for the fastest time in the Midwest Conference this season by eight seconds. It's also the ninth-fastest 8,000-meter race in Lawrence history. Led by Janusiak, Lawrence finished fourth in the team standings and the Vikings were the top finishers among the three MWC schools taking part.
