McInerney set program records with 5.5 sacks and 6.5 tackles for loss in Lake Forest’s 42-14 victory at Lawrence Saturday night. He also led all players in the contest with 13 stops overall. In addition, McInerney became the Foresters’ career leader in tackles for loss with 53.5 over the last four years.
