Erin Lengel won two events and finished second in two others to lead Lawrence to fourth place at the Gene Davis Invitational. Lengel grabbed first in the 100-yard backstroke in 1:01.91 to win by 1.17 seconds. She also won the 100-butterfly in 1:01.82 and grabbed second in the 100 freestyle in 55.40 seconds. She also swam on the 200-freestyle relay team that finished second in 1:43.44.
