In Lawrence’s only action of the week, Kenya Earl matched her career high with 30 pints to rally the Vikings from a 14-point first-half deficit to a 65-53 nonconference victory over Maranatha Baptist. Earl went 7-for-15 from the floor, including 2-for-3 from 3-point range, and 14-for-16 from the foul line. Earl’s 14 free throws is the second-most in Lawrence history and marks the third time she has made 14 free throws in a game. Earl scored just two points in the first quarter but added 10 more in the second quarter to spark the comeback. She then poured in 18 second-half points as Lawrence pulled away for the win.
