St. Norbert College sophomore Jaxsen Schermacher shattered the previous school record in the indoor pole vault by nearly 10 inches as the Green Knights competed at the Emory University Crossplex Showdown at Birmingham Crossplex. Schermacher unleased a vault of 15 feet 5 inches to finish second, smashing the old mark held by his older brother Max, who set the previous standing of 14-7 ¼ last season. Schermacher is currently ranked 6th in the Nation with that height.
