Weirather did it all for the Pioneers, including tossing five innings of one-hit shutout ball in a game with Buena Vista University Saturday. He struck out seven and didn’t issue any walks in getting a no-decision against a team receiving votes for the NCAA D-III rankings. At the plate, Weirather hit a stellar .667 by going 8-of-12 at the plate with a homer, four RBIs and two runs scored. He had a 1.584 on-base percentage and .917 slugging percentage. Weirather also had a spotless 1.000 fielding percentage in four chances.
