OSHKOSH, Wisconsin — In the second week of the Midwest Conference (MWC) SAAC 11th Annual Giving Challenge, campus teams added to their first week totals by totaling 1,072 non-perishable items and nearly $900.
Lawrence University remained in first place, adding 895 cans and $360 for an equivalency total of 3,604.
Monmouth College remained in second place, adding $311 to run its equivalency total to 1,389. Grinnell College jumped from sixth to third, collecting 80 items and $133 in week two. Illinois College slides to fourth place, though IC did collect 30 items and $23 in the second week.
Knox College stands in fifth with a total equivalency of 159, while Ripon College is sixth (58). Knox added 67 items and $16 in week two, while Ripon did not report a week two total.
Cornell (20), Beloit (2) and Lake Forest (N/A) round out the week two standings. Cornell ($10) and Beloit ($1) each chipped in monetary donations to add to their totals.
