OSHKOSH, Wisconsin – After winning its fifth consecutive Midwest Conference Tournament title, Cornell College has learned its NCAA Tournament destination as the Rams will head to UW-Oshkosh for the eight-team regional hosted by the Titans.
Cornell (19-10) will face Dubuque in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament. In addition to the Rams and Spartans, the other six teams competing at UWO include the host Titans, WashU, St. Benedict, Edgewood, Gustavus Adolphus and Greenville. The Rams enter the NCAA Tournament on a seven-match win streak with their last loss coming on October 21.
Play begins on Thursday, November 20, as the Rams and Spartans are slated to begin at 2 p.m. The Round of 64 takes place on Thursday, while the Round of 32 and Round of 16 follow on Friday and Saturday, respectively. The winner of each eight-team regional will advance to the Shirk Center in Bloomington, Illinois where the quarterfinals, semifinals and final will be played from December 3-6.
