OSHKOSH, Wisconsin – After an 8-2 start to the season, the Ripon College women’s basketball team is ranked 25th in the latest Women’s Basketball Coaches Association Top 25 Poll.
Winners of three straight games, head coach Lauren Busalacchi has Ripon expected to challenge for the Midwest Conference crown once again in 2026. Boasting seven consecutive MWC titles – a league record – the Red Hawks returned four starters from last season’s club and are off to a perfect 3-0 start in conference play this season.
Ripon also holds wins over UW-Stout, UW-Eau Claire and UW-Platteville in the non-conference slate. The Red Hawks sit one point out of the D3hoops.com top 25 poll and hold a 17-game home win streak. Four Red Hawks average at least 10 points per game: Laney Havlovitz (15.1), Halle Van Horn (11.3), Natalie Rauwolf (11.1) and Karsyn Nelson (10.5). All five starters average at least nine points per contest.
Ripon hosts Lake Forest in MWC play on Friday, December 19 at 3 p.m. The Red Hawks close out 2025 with neutral-site contests against UW-Superior (December 28) and Minnesota Morris (December 29).
