Grinnell Men’s Tennis Falls to No. 4 Chicago in NCAA Second Round

WHITEWATER, Wisconsin – Grinnell College closed the 2024-25 men’s tennis season with a second-round loss in the NCAA Division III Tournament regional on Saturday morning. The Pioneers fell 4–0 to No. 4 University of Chicago.
 
The Maroons secured the doubles point with victories at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles, then added singles wins at No. 1, No. 2, and No. 4 to clinch the match.
 
Grinnell finishes the season with a 14-13 overall record. Chicago improves to 22-3 and will face Gustavus Adolphus—who defeated host UW-Whitewater 4–2—at noon on Sunday, May 11.
