Ripon Women's Basketball Moves Up in D3hoops.com Rankings

OSHKOSH, Wisconsin – Winners of 13 consecutive games, the Ripon women’s basketball program continued its rise in the D3hoops.com rankings as the Red Hawks moved up to 19th in the organization’s latest release.
 
Sporting a perfect 11-0 Midwest Conference record, Ripon rolled past two MWC opponents last week, defeating Lake Forest (72-29) on Tuesday and Illinois College (88-56) on Saturday. Each conference triumph has come by double digits, with the average league margin of victory being 31.8 points.
 
Outscoring opponents by an average of 23.4 points per game this season, four Red Hawks average double digit points per contest: Laney Havlovitz (12.9), Natalie Rauwolf (11.0), Sophie Schlieve (11.0) and Halle Van Horn (10.6). With an overall record of 18-2, Ripon has not lost a game at home since February 3, 2024 – a streak spanning 21 games.
 
Ripon, ranked 15th in the latest Women’s Basketball Coaches Association poll, travels to Lawrence University for a 7:30 p.m. contest with the Vikings on Wednesday, February 4. The Red Hawks can clinch a Midwest Conference Tournament berth with a win on Wednesday or a Grinnell loss against Monmouth.
 
The next D3hoops.com poll will be released on Monday, February 9.
