Brandon Kemerling - Monmouth College
Junior - Peoria, Ill.
Kemerling opened the season in style and helped the Scots to a near-record round in their season-opener in Avon Park, Fla. The junior earned medalist honors after firing a three under 69 at the River Greens course. His score accounted for part of the Scots’ 292-317 win over Warner University and was just four strokes shy of the school record.

Senior - Waukesha, Wis.
Bussalacchipaced the Carroll University men’s golf team to a 4th place finish at the Gorlok Spring Invitational. Bussalacchi fired a 71-74 (145) to claim a 3rd place individual finish in the highly competitive tournament.

Senior - Mount Vernon, Iowa
Jared Dye bounced back from an opening-round 88 to shoot on 80 on the final day of the Illinois Wesleyan Invitational over the weekend. Dye’s two-day score of 168 is his season-best and ranked second for Grinnell at the tourney.

Eric Busalacchi earned medalist honors to lead the Carroll University men’s golf team to a fifth place team finish in the 17-team Ripon College Invitational. Busalacchi, a senior from Waukesha, Wis. (West), won the event with a two score of 147 following rounds of 74 and 73.

Ben Olson - Monmouth College
Senior - Oneida, Ill.
Olson won a one-hole playoff Sunday and took medalist honors at the 36-hole Blueboy Invitational. The senior opened with a four-over 76 on Saturday, then shot a tournament-best 72 in the final round to forge a tie for first with a 148. His rounds helped the Scots post a 306-301-607 to win the meet by seven strokes. Olson has averaged 76.8 strokes in the month of April and has scored in the 70s in seven of his last eight rounds.

Sam Luedtke - Carroll University
Senior - Milwukee, Wis.
Sam Luedtke shot three rounds of 75 or better last week to lead the Carroll University men’s golf team in a pair of meets. Luedtke, a senior from South Milwaukee, Wis. (South Milwaukee High School) shot a 74 to finish in a tie for third place at the Carthage Invitation on Tuesday then recorded rounds of 74 and 75 to finish fourth at the two-day Monmouth Invitational.
