Emily Schudrowitz - St. Norbert College
Senior - Wauwatosa, Wis.
Schudrowitz ran a career best time in the 400m dash(57.39) enroute to over a 3 second victory in the event this past weekend at the Sherman-Lukoskis Invitational at Ripon College. Schudrowitz's time in the 400m dash is currently the fastest time in the country. She also has run the fastest times in the MWC in the 200, 400 and 800.

Jessica Brungardt - Ripon College
Senior - Peyton, Colo.
Brungardt helped Ripon finish second out of five teams at Saturday’s Sherman-Lukoski Invitational. She won three throwing events, finishing first in the shot put (39-07), disc (121-11) and hammer (133-10). Her performance in the shot put was a career-best for the senior.

Schudrowitz gained entry into the Raleigh Relays held at North Carolina State University and did not disappoint. She was the only Division III entry in the 800m Invitational and finished second in her heat and with a time of 2:10.05. That time is currently the fastest time in all of Division III by over two seconds.

Junior - St. Charles, Ill.
Devor ranks ninth in the nation after competing at last weekend’s Washington University Invitational that included competition from all NCAA divisions and NAIA schools. The junior was just 2” off her personal-best in the shot put where her mark of 42’9-3/4” was third and ranks ninth nationally. She also recorded a lifetime mark in the hammer throw with a toss of 159’8”, finishing second, just 4” behind the winner. Devor completed the throws with an eighth-place finish in the discus at 119’11”

Kenzie Payton - Monmouth College
Sophomore - Alexis, Ill.
Payton ran her best at Friday’s Ashford Classic. The sophomore turned in a career-best 58.75 in the 400 meter dash, less than a second behind the winner. The time ranks her second in the Midwest Conference. She also ran a leg on the 4x100 relay which finished third in a league-best 49.50.

MacKinsey Marquith - Monmouth College
Junior - Knoxville, Ill.
Marquith is in the national rankings after last week’s long jump at the Ashford Classic. The junior won the event by nearly a foot with a jump of 18’2-1/2”. The mark ranks her 13th in the nation. She followed that with a runner up finish in the triple jump with a leap of 35’4”.

Kari Braatz - St. Norbert College
Sophomore - Menomonee Falls, Wis.
Braatz had a hand in three event victories on Saturday to help lead the St. Norbert women to a tie of the team title at the Wisconsin Lutheran Invitational. Braatz won the open 100m dash in a time of 12.86 and also was on two winning relay teams(4x100m dash and the sprint medley relay).

Missy Norville - Illinois College
Junior - Batavia, Ill.
Norville scored a pair of first-place finishes over the weekend at the Lee Calhoun Memorial Invitational at Western Illinois University. Norville won both the long jump (19 feet, 2 inches) and the triple jump (40 feet, 1 1/2 inches) at the meet, topping a number of Division I competitors. Both jumps rank atop the Midwest Conference leader board this spring. Norville currently ranks second in Division III in the triple jump and third in the long jump.

Sarah Burnell - Grinnell College
Sophomore - Grinnell, Iowa
Burnell won the 1500-meter run at Saturday’s Dick Young Classic with a time of 4:44.82, which is tops in the Midwest Conference this season. She also was part of the first-place 4x400 relay team that ran a school record and MWC-best 4:02.50. The previous school mark was 4:03.82, set last season.

Freshman - Tigerton, Wis.
Breaker set a new school record in the high jump at Saturday’s St. Norbert Invite, breaking the 24-year old mark by one inch with a first-place jump of 5-5. She currently ranks first in the Midwest Conference and 19th in the nation in the high jump. She added a first place finish in the long jump with a career-best jump of 17-01.5 and a fourth place finish in the javelin (89-06.5).

Lexie Schaffer - Ripon College
Sophomore - Hilbert, Wis.
Schaffer had an outstanding day at Sunday’s Wisconsin Private College Championships, leading the Red Hawks to a first place finish out of seven teams. She won two events, finishing first in the 200 and 400 meters with times of 26.21 and 60.78, respectively, while also placing second in the high jump (5-02.25) and fifth in the javelin (86-07.75). Schaffer also ran a leg on Ripon’s first place 4x100 relay team, which ran a time of 51.94, and was a part of Ripon’s third-place 4x400 relay team with a time of 4:28.97.

Norville took 10th place in the long jump and 11th place in the triple jump on Saturday at the Drake Relays in Des Moines, Iowa. Norville recorded a jump of 18 feet, 10 1/2 in the long jump, and a mark of 40 feet, 8 3/4 inches in the triple jump. Her distance in the triple jump was the best recorded in the Midwest Conference this year.

Lindsay Gruenke - Carroll University
Senior - Aurora, Ill.
Lindsay Gruenke blazed a trail on the track this weekend at the Carroll Invitational. The senior set a new Carroll record in the 200 meter dash with a time of 25.00, which is best in the Midwest Conference this season and 22nd in the nation. She also played a part on the winning 4 x 100 and 4 x 400 meter relay teams.

Amanda Trieloff - Carroll University
Senior - Lake Mills, Wis.
Following a successful weekend, Amanda Trieloff looks poised to repeat as Midwest Conference and National Champion. The senior recorded a throw of 45.31 meters in the javelin event at the Carroll Invitational on Saturday. Trieloff’s mark is tops so far this season in the Midwest Conference and the nation.
