Breanne Brocker - Outside Hitter - St. Norbert College
Sophomore- Maribel, Wis.
Brocker led St. Norbert to a 4-0 weekend at the Elmhurst Tournament, which included wins over No. 12 Carthage and receiving votes Coast Guard Academy. Brocker hit .330 on the weekend, connecting for 41 kills in 106 attempts against just six errors. She also had 77 digs, six blocks and two assists.

Chelsey Widdop - Outside Hitter - Monmouth College
Senior- Reynolds, Ill.
Chelsey Widdop powered Monmouth College to a 3-1 record at last weekend’s Illinois Wesleyan Barker Classic. The senior outside hitter collected double-digit kills in all four matches, opening with 11 winners in a 3-0 win over Eureka. She drilled 12 more kills when the Scots swept Fontbonne 3-0. Widdop came back Saturday with a 19 kill, 19 dig effort in a 3-1 loss to IWU, the Scots’ only loss on the weekend. She wrapped up the tournament by hitting .483 with 16 kills and 11 digs against Lincoln Christian. For the week, Widdop averaged over four kills per set with 58 total kills for a .336 percentage. She also added 43 digs, averaging over three per set.

Taylor Dicus - Middle - Cornell College
Sophomore- Mount Vernon, Iowa
Dicus established a school record by posting an .800 attack percentage (16 kills-0 errors-20 attempts) in a sweep of Northwestern Sept. 15 in Mount Vernon. She was named to the all-tournament team at the Cornell Classic, hitting .296 with 32 kills (2.13 kps) and 24 blocks (1.60 bps) in four matches. The Rams finished 1-3 in a competitive eight-team field. For the week Dicus collected 42 kills and 29 blocks while hitting .304.

Emily Goebert - Outside Hitter - Carroll University
Senior - Beaver Dam, Wis.
Goebert recorded 46 kills and 32 digs to lead the Carroll University volleyball team to a 3-1 record at the Gargoyle Classic hosted by the University of Chicago and a 3-2 mark for the week. The Pioneers earned victories over Chatham University, University of Scranton and Defiance College while falling to the hosts in a tightly contested match. Goebert saved her best performance for last, recording a double-double with 19 kills and 10 digs in the event’s finale against Defiance.

Kathleen O’Connor - Outside Hitter - Cornell College
Junior - Waukegan, Ill.
O’Connor led Cornell’s attack with 71 kills (4.44 kps)and a .231 hitting percentage against four formidable opponents at the UW-Whitewater Invitational. The Rams finished 1-3, going up against three nationally-ranked teams along with a 17-4 Millikin squad. O’Connor also averaged 2.94 digs and 0.44 blocks in the tournament. She was expectional in a three-set loss to 11th-ranked Elmhurst, posting 23 kills and a .435 attack percentage.

Kathleen O’Connor - Outside Hitter - Cornell College
Junior - Waukegan, Ill.
O’Connor hit .261 and averaged 4.00 kills per set in leading the Rams to sweeps over Grinnell, Beloit and Lake Forest. She moved into third place on Cornell’s career list for kills with 1,167. The Rams (11-10 overall) improved to 4-0 in Midwest Conference play.

Chesley Widdop - Outside Hitter - Monmouth College
Senior - Reynolds, Ill.
Widdop hit .328 last week as Monmouth College posted a 2-0 conference record for the weekend. The senior outside hitter connected for 14 kills and made 15 digs in a 3-0 blanking of Ripon on Friday. Widdop was at it again in a 3-0 win over Carroll as the Scots stayed in third place in the conference. She drilled 11 kills and hit .476 against the Pioneers and added five total blocks. For the week, Widdop posted 25 kills, averaging 4.17 kills per set, and added 26 digs to average 4.33 digs per set.

Kathleen O’Connor - Outside Hitter - Cornell College
Junior - Waukegan, Ill.
O’Connor hit .262 and averaged 4.40 kills per set as the Rams extended their winning streak to eight matches with a perfect 3-0 week. She also tallied 32 digs (3.2 dps) and four aces. O’Connor pounded 13 kills in a home sweep of Iowa Conference co-leader Coe. She had 19 kills in a four-set win at Carroll, and added 12 in a sweep of Ripon.

Molly McCloskey-Outside Hitter - Lake Forest College
Senior - Riverside, Ill.
McCloskey helped lead Lake Forest to a pair of victories over the weekend as the Foresters qualified for the MWC Tournament. McCloskey finished Friday night’s five-set win at Monmouth with 26 kills and 24 digs and pounded out kills with her team facing match point three times in the fifth set. She also recorded 15 kills and 14 digs in a three-set triumph at Illinois College on Saturday.
