Joe Puntoriero - Knox College
Senior - Cheektowaga, NY
Puntoriero set two new school records and just missed a third while winning three events and placing second in another at the season-opening Knox College Invitational on January 12. Puntoriero won the 60 meter preliminaries at the Knox Invitational on January 12 in a time of :07.201, breaking the previous school record of :07.31 that he set last February. Puntoriero followed that by winning the 60 meter race in a time of :07.16, which established yet another school record in the event. He also placed first by running a career-best time of :22.88 in the 200 meters, which is the second-fastest time in school history. Puntoriero just missed matching the school record of :22.87 in the 200 set in 1999. He added a second place finish in the long jump as well with a distance of 20 feet and 3 1/2 inches.

Kiante Green - Monmouth College
Junior - Chicago, Ill.
Kiante Green posted a pair of wins at last week’s Midwest Invitational. The junior clocked a 7.01 to win the 60-meter dash. Green then posted the league’s second fastest time of 22.49 win in the 200.

Joshua Williams - Illinois College
Senior - Windsor, Ill.
Williams finished in second place in the mile run Friday at the Principia College Relays in Elsah. His time of 4:49.02 was nearly nine seconds better than his seed time. No team scores were kept at the meet.

Cory Zimmerman - Ripon College
Senior - Grand Marsh, Wis.
Zimmerman helped lead the Red Hawks to a third place finish at Saturday’s UW-Stevens Point Invitational. He finished second in the 800 meters with a time of 1:56.00, which leads the MWC this season. Zimmerman’s time in the 800 also ranks 15th in the nation.

Kiante Green - Monmouth College
Junior - Chicago, Ill.
Green broke two school records and ran the nation’s sixth-fastest 60-meter dash time at Saturday’s Fighting Scot Invitational. The junior broke his own school record in the prelims of the 60 meters and then improved that time with a 6.89 in the finals to take the win. He was in a dead heat in the 200 where he ran a school record 21.92. Both times are Midwest Conference season bests.

Nate Kolacia - Grinnell College
Freshman - Fort Dodge, Iowa
Kolacia raced onto the Pioneers’ all-time indoor mile chart with his clocking of 4:20.98 at the Wartburg Invitational, a time that ranks second in program history. That time also leads the MWC and is nearly a second-and-a-half faster than his nearest opponent.
