Zach Rogers - Shortstop - Cornell College
Senior - Cedar Rapids, Iowa
Rogers hit hitting .500 (9-of-18) with a 1.000 slugging percentage through the first five games on Cornell’s Spring Break trip in Tucson, Ariz. He has collected four triples, one double, eight RBIs and eight runs scored.

Carl Formento - Carroll University
Freshman - St. Charles, Ill.
Formento shined in his college debut, going the distance to lead the Carroll University baseball team to a 5-2 victory over Concordia (MN) College, CU’s first victory of the season. The freshman from St. Charles, Ill. (St. Charles North) surrender just three hits and two earned runs while striking out three batters.

Ryan Crandall - Second Base - Monmouth College
Junior - Florissant, Mo.
Crandall got his season off to a hot start, hitting .500 in six games last week. He had multi hit games in all but one game which was highlighted by a 4-for-5 effort against Rockford on Thursday where he drove in three runs and scored three runs. Crandall has started the season with an eight-game hitting streak, collecting multiple hits in all but two contests. For the week, Crandall went 14-for-28 with four RBIs and a team-high ten runs scored.

Marshall Zahn - Ripon College
Sophomore - DePere, Wis.
Zahn did not give up a run in 12.2 innings of work last week, while striking out eight batters, as opponents batted just .114 against him. In his only start of the week, Zahn pitched a complete game five-hitter against UMASS-Dartmouth, which saw him strike out six batters.

Matthew Pardo - Infielder - Illinois College
Junior - Azusa, Calif.
Pardo batted .750 (6-for-8) with six RBIs as Illinois College won a pair of nonconference games over the past week. Five of Pardo’s his went for extra bases; he had three doubles and two triples. He also scored a pair of runs. Pardo was 4-for-4 with two doubles, a triple and four RBIs in an 11-1 win over Principia College. He was 2-for-4 with a double, a triple and two RBIs in a 3-1 win over Greenville College.

David Pardo - Illinois College
Senior - Azusa, Calif.
Pardo pitched a complete-game gem on Saturday, scattering nine hits and one run as the Illinois College baseball team took a 3-1 win over visiting Greenville College. Pardo pitched all nine innings, allowing just two walks against three strikeouts. His nine-inning complete-game effort was Illinois College’s first of its kind this spring.

Erik Smoy - Outfielder - Knox College
Junior - Hoffman Estates, Ill.
Smoy had a big offensive day in a pair of Knox victories against Beloit College on Saturday in Galesburg, Illinois. Smoy was 4-for-5 with five RBIs, including a three-run home run, scored three runs and stole a base in the Prairie Fire’s 16-9 game one victory over the Buccaneers. Smoy added three more hits in the second game, a 6-5 come-from-behind win for Knox, to finish the day 7-for-10 at the plate and raise his batting average to .441 on the season.

Will Pahos - Grinnell College
Junior - Clarendon Hills, Ill.
Pahos did not give up an earned run in 7-2/3 innings of a game with Washington University, scattering six hits while striking out two. He allowed opponents to just a .182 batting average.

Zach Rogers - Shortstop - Cornell College
Senior - Cedar Rapids, Iowa
Rogers batted .571 (8-of-14) with three extra-base hits, seven RBIs and a .929 slugging percentage in four games as the Rams went 3-1. In Game 2 against Robert Morris-Springfield, Rogers went 4-for-4 with a double, two triples, five RBIs and four runs. He tied the school record for triples in a season with six. Rogers leads the MWC in slugging percentage (.818) and runs (23), and is second in batting average (.473).

Patrick Van Daalwyk - Ripon College
Sophomore - Clintonville, Wis.
Van Daalwyk pitched his first career complete game shutout Sunday afternoon in a 5-0 victory over Lawrence University. He allowed just four hits in the nine innings, while striking out seven batters and walking one.

Senior - Cedar Rapids, Iowa
Rogers continued his season-long tear at the plate, batting .591 (13-of-22) with seven RBIs in five games last week. Rogers recorded four multi-hit games, giving him 12 for the spring. He moved into fifth place on Cornell’s career hits list with 150. Rogers leads the MWC in most offensive categories, including a .506 batting average.

Nate Jones - Illinois College
Senior - Belleville, Ill.
Jones pitched the first no-hitter of his baseball career, and Illinois College’s first no-hitter since 2010, in a 3-0 win over Grinnell College on Sunday. Jones allowed just one walk in the nine-inning, complete-game effort. He struck out 10. Jones currently boasts a 2-3 record and a 2.17 ERA over a team-high 37 1/3 innings of work this spring.

Adam Grambow - First Base - Ripon College
Senior - Menasha, Wis.
Grambow tore the cover off the ball during the past week, batting .500 (17-34) in the team’s eight games to keep Ripon undefeated in the MWC (10-0). He recorded two doubles, three home runs and 12 RBI, while scoring 11 runs during the week. That helped extend his current hitting streak to 11 games.

Jason Ormond - Grinnell College
Senior - Chicago, Ill.
Ormond tossed a complete-game three-hitter as the Pioneers won a key 15-0 decision over Cornell College on Sunday. Ormond struck out eight batters and walked just one in the seven-inning affair to improve to 3-2 on the season.

Rogers had another huge week at the plate, batting .481 (13-of-27) with 17 RBIs and a 1.000 slugging percentage in seven games. He collected three doubles, a triple and three home runs, including a grand slam in Cornell’s 7-5 Game 1 win Saturday over Illinois College. Rogers set single-season school records for triples (7) and RBIs (49). He is batting .480 on the year with 19 multi-hit games.

Tyler Robers - Carroll University
Sophomore - Neenah, Wis.
Robers put together a career-best performance on the mound in leading the Carroll University baseball team to a doubleheaders split on Saturday. Robers, a right-handed sophomore from Neenah, Wis. (Neenah), took the mound for game two and delivered a stellar 8-inning performance. He gave up no runs and just six hits to Beloit College while striking out 13 Buccaneer batters.

Kyle Bosquez - Second Base - Ripon College
Senior - Weyauwega, Wis.
Bosquez helped Ripon clinch hosting rights for the 2013 MWC Championship, as the team finished the conference schedule with a 14-2 record. In five games last week, Bosquez hit .520 (13-25) with three home runs, four doubles and nine RBI. He also scored 13 runs and stole one base during the week. His signature game came in a 22-6 win over Carroll, which saw him go 4-for-6 with two homers, one double, five RBI and five runs scored.
